Lecture: How Autocracy Spreads

Part of the Fall 2024 Political Science Distinguished Speaker Series. The speaker is Anna Gryzmala-Busse of Stanford University. Gryzmala-Busse’s research focuses on state development and transformation, religion and politics, political parties and post-communist politics. She has published numerous books, including, most recently, “Sacred Foundations: The Religious and Medieval Roots of the European State.”

The speaker series is organized and moderated by Alba Alexander, clinical associate professor of political science.
