The latest edition of Graphê, the creative journal run by UIC English students and faculty, will host a release event to celebrate the writers and artists published in the Spring 2025 edition. The program will feature readings of written pieces and presentations of visual art by the contributing artists. This event is also the official launch of Graphê’s new website, where all editions of the journal will be available online for free.
The artists published in this edition include Olga Zahayskiy, Diana Gurrola and Aubrey Palaganas, among others. The journal contains a variety of written works and visual art in the genres of poetry, flash fiction, short stories, creative nonfiction, drawings, paintings and photography.
Graphê brings together selected works from young adults at universities across Chicago, produced by a collaborative team of students and faculty at UIC. We highlight the artistry and intellect shared across academic and creative disciplines to create a unique publication that celebrates Chicago’s undergraduate students. We hope to reflect diverse perspectives authentically and to be a platform to uplift the ideas of today’s young thinkers and artists.
You can contact Graphê via our website. The journal receives emails at graphe@uic.edu.
