Free flu shots for employees, retirees

The UIC Retzky College of Pharmacy has partnered with the Illinois Department of Central Management Services to provide seasonal flu shots at no charge to eligible State of Illinois employees and retirees.

Free flu shots for UIC employees and retirees will be offered on campus Oct. 7 and Oct. 14, 2025.

State employees and retirees enrolled in the Quality Care Health Plan or state-sponsored managed care insurance plans are eligible.

Employees must present their state-sponsored health insurance card and i-card. Retirees and survivors must present their state-sponsored health insurance card and state ID or driver’s license.

Flu shots will be administered:

• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 7, Thompson Room C, Student Center West
• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 14, Cardinal Room 329, Student Center East

These are walk-in clinics; no appointment is necessary.
