Film screening: “No Other Land”

Join the UIC Social Justice Initiative for a special screening of Academy Award-winning documentary, “No Other Land,” by Yuval Abraham, Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Rachel Szor.

This film features half a decade of footage collected by Palestinian activist Basel Adra as his West Bank community of Masafer Yatta is destroyed and expelled by Israeli occupation. Adra connects with Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham and together they address Israeli state and settler violence, Palestinian displacement and efforts to envision a just future in the West Bank.
