Please join the UIC Digital Accessibility Services and Engineering Team’s Blake Bertuccelli-Booth for a deep dive into how AI is shaking up digital accessibility in higher education.

This session features real-world examples from platforms like Adobe, AWS, Yuja, OpenAI, AltText.ai, Otter, Deque and SiteImprove and breaks down the tech behind them — like computer vision and speech recognition. We’ll also cover when to use raw AI tools versus packaged solutions and how to strike the right balance between speed, accuracy and control.

This session is for web designers, developers, accessibility enthusiasts and anyone interested in how AI is shaping web accessibility.
