2026 Sweet Ride Fundraiser

The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism invites all students, faculty and staff to our 8th Annual Sweet Ride Fundraiser.

You’re invited to a morning of biking, running and walking, all while supporting a great cause, along the Des Plaines River in Willow Springs. We have distances for everyone. Choose between a 40K or 65K bike ride or a 5K fun run/walk. Experience the camaraderie and community of people coming together for a cause to better diabetes care in the greater Chicago area. All proceeds will go directly to our mission to transform diabetes care and research in Chicago.

After the ride, come hang out with the division at our after-party across the street at Imperial Brewery, where we’ll have face painting, games, a bouncy house, tacos, raffles, silent auctions and fun!

Your registration gets you a soft and cozy event t-shirt plus a food and drink ticket to enjoy at the after-party.
