14th Annual Diabetes and Obesity Research Day

You’re invited to the 14th annual UIC Diabetes and Obesity Research Day on Tuesday, Oct. 13, offered in person and online.

This year’s focus is Type 1 diabetes, featuring invited speakers highlighting advances in prevention, treatment, clinical trials, diabetes technology and emerging research.

Morning 
Poster Session — Faculty Alumni Lounge
Connect with investigators, students and trainees as they showcase their research, and meet with vendors who will be present during the poster session.

Medical Grand Rounds — Moss Auditorium

Afternoon 
Hear engaging short talks highlighting innovative research, followed by awards for outstanding posters.

Abstracts are strongly encouraged! Investigators, students, and trainees are invited to submit abstracts on Type 1 diabetes and related areas of diabetes and obesity research.

Abstract deadlines

• Oct. 2, at 11:59 p.m. — Deadline for full consideration for poster awards
• Oct. 8, at 11:59 p.m. — Final poster abstract submission deadline

Lunch will be provided for registered attendees.
